A few of our players suggested the idea of a massive snow in at Mountain Lab for a roleplay event. We wanted to bring up this idea to everyone again to see if there is a strong interest. If we want to implement this event it’ll have to be sooner than later as it’s a seasonal event. We’re talking in a week’s time.

We figured the following could happen during this event:

• All supplies delivered to Mountain Lab would be put on hold. Food, water, weapons, and general supplies would all be withheld. The mercenaries would have to hunt and possibly fight melee. Mediguns would eventually be rendered useless.
• Power would eventually go out, thus putting respawn on temporary hold. The mercenaries would have to be extremely careful during this time.
• The mercenaries would be significantly restrained to where they could go. Certain parts of the bases could be cut off.
• It would be difficult for the mercenaries to travel between bases, considering the massive amount of snow.Towards the end of the event it could be rendered impossible.
• Perhaps something dangerous could be unleashed within the bases, such as dangerous animals, as a test from the Admin. The mercenaries would be forced to kill these animals without escaping the bases (before they are killed themselves).

What is the point system?

The point system is a roleplay idea the moderators have to encourage more fighting between the Mountain Lab mercenaries and develop a stronger sense of friendly competition (although it won’t be so friendly IC). Basically the mercenaries will have to do various things in order to earn points. At the end of the month the mercenaries will be ranked according to the points earned. There will be a top tier (who will earn a prize) and a bottom tier (who will earn a punishment). At the end of the month the points will start over, and the process will continue.

Note: This will be an optional event. Because we know that some of our members are more active than others it may put some of you at a huge disadvantage. Therefore it will be considered optional, but highly encouraged by the Admin (you’re proving your “worth” so to speak by singing up). It’s fine not to participate but we highly encourage and hope that a good majority do. This has the potential to be a really fun way for the mercenaries to compete against each other! But it will only work if the majority of our members participate.

Note: If we do this anyone who previously caught a bear for the Admin will earn 6 points at the beginning of our first round. We have these people on record.
